What we do
We look at browser farm and garden games the way a careful buyer looks at farm machinery: what does it do, what does it cost to keep running, how much of your time will it take, and is it the right tool for you. Each game gets its own review, and a few longer guides cover the questions that apply to all of them.
We don't host games. You can't play anything on this site, and we don't sell accounts, items or currency. When you decide to try a game, the button at the end of each review takes you to the publisher's own official site.
Who writes it
Tractor & Twine is written by its editorial team. We don't put invented names or faces on our articles, and we don't publish user reviews, star scores or ratings we can't back up.
Why only this genre
Because it deserves a careful look. Browser farms are often people's first online game, and they're played in the gaps of the day for months or years. Small differences, like how often a game wants you back or how it handles purchases, matter more over that stretch than they do in a fast action game.
Independence
We are not connected to any game publisher, we use no referral codes, and nobody pays for a place on our line. The disclaimer sets this out formally, and how we review explains our method.
